Email Won't Send?
If you are unable to connect to your SMTP server using mail.sitename.com, and cannot use the alternate port setting of 587, then your ISP is no longer allowing emailing
through third-party SMTP servers.
Check your ISP's support documentation or call them directly. You will need to change your email client settings to use your ISP's SMTP server for outgoing mail.
Settings to retrieve your incoming mail from the POP3 server for your website do not need to be changed.
Most ISPs have already documented their outgoing server requirements on their websites. The ISPs below do not allow you to send mail through your own website mail server.
